Storyline
Plot Summary |
Adela is a 43-year-old single woman who lives in a small town with her maid Isabelita and supports herself by sewing. Despite having an ungraceful physique, Adela sees herself as a woman with a great personality who has captivated Santiago, a bank director, who has proposed several times, never questioning why Adela always turns him down. One day, on her pastor's advice, Adela visits the doctor and discovers something that perhaps she always halfway suspected: she is actually a man. This discovery changes his entire life to the point of reducing it to something that never should have happened. And now he must face an intolerant society and a world that doesn't accept people like him. Can Adela--now Juan--achieve the solution of his problems? Written by Miguel Ángel Díaz González |
