I saw this movie back in 1977 i was in my early teen but since i saw the movie 7 time i remember very well ,Sarita Montiel is and was the most popular movie star in the history of Spanish movie she was so big that when her movies were show in town everybody goes to the movie, in this movie her last major film she was over 40 and a little big chubby but still very beautiful, this is a musical as most of her movies since 1957 when she became a super star, here she pay a part like in All about Eve, she is Eve Harrinton she was the second banana of this musical company were the star was an older vedette play by trini alonso , the older star have an affair with the producer of the show one day they broked their love affair and she leave the show and Sara became the star of the company and the rest is history the director of this movie was Juan Antonio Bardem a very good filmmaker in this movie is not much to do just seat back and watch Sara Montiel sing and be beautiful
