Although a bit slow at times, this movie is definitely worth watching. It's one of those "so strange it's good" films, that seemed to reach their pinnacle during the late sixties, early seventies. Richard Burton is a bit stiff, perhaps embarrassed by his role, but the parade of beautiful woman in the movie more than make up for his wooden performance. Joey Heatherton and Raquel Welch stand out, as does the cinematography, which captures the eye in the same way those 60's TV shows like Batman and Star Trek did. The very weird plot has Burton playing a retired war hero who marries and murders his wives before having to admit to his "performance" problem. If you're a fan of the beautiful and the bizarre, take a look at this one. There's nothing else,(that I've ever seen) quite like it.
