Trivialidades:

Roddy McDowall is the only cast member to appear in all the original "Planet of the Apes" movies. He also starred in the "Planet of the Apes" (1974) TV series. It's also noted that Roddy is the only actor to voice two different apes, Cornelius and his son, Caesar.

Errores:

Continuidad: When the humans from the dead city and two of Aldo's gorillas meet in the desert, Governor Kolp watches the gorillas through his binoculars. He then issues orders to shoot the gorillas with a cannon. The cannon fires in a completely different direction to the way he was looking, but hits them anyway.

Citas:

Virgil: Teacher only reverted to type under provocation. He... he spoke like a slavemaster in the old days of our servitude when we were conditioned to mechanical obedience. He, uh, he uttered a negative, uh, imperative.

Missing 10 minutes crucial for film!

This is a very good film, not anywhere near as good as the first four of the series, but for only one reason. 10 minutes.

The Japanese release of 'Battle' contains an extra 10 minutes of footage that I feel is not only important to the storyline, but it completely changes the feel of the film. Without those crucial 10 minutes of footage, the viewer is thus given a somewhat watered down t.v. series type version of the film, originally done to attract a more younger audience. I personally love this film either way, Trust me, before critisizing 'Battle For The Planet Of The Apes', seek out the Japanese release (I have it on laserdisc) and see for yourself just how different (and better) a decent film can become with only 10 minutes of added storyline.
