There they work at a Nevada mining Corporation , but the bunch robs the money , being wanted , pursued , chased , detained and , finally , imprisoned . Later on , escaping and subsequently kill an Indian ; soon after , they arrive in a little West town where are badly received . There rules a nasty land baron : Eduardo Fajardo and a fast-draw sheriff : Luis Barboo . There also shows up the famous Doc Holliday : William Berger and his girlfriend , the saloon girl Kate Elder : Geraldine Chaplin . They start working as baths cleaners , but the racist villagers kill their dog and they seek revenge . At the end takes place a violent bank robbing and a final betrayal .

A Chorizo/Schnitzel Western co-financed by Spain and Germany , being produced by Andrés Vicente Gómez and Munich's PIFDA production Company ; it has usual ingredients as shootouts , nasty gunfighters , Indians , saloon girls and usual outdoors from Spain . The film describes the strong life of the European people who emigrates US and their isolation , hardworking , distrust , sufferings and bigotry . The highlights of the film result to be the moving scenes when the motley group dressed in Austrian clothes singing a Tirol song and the thrilling ending taking place a bank heist and a surprising treason . Here appears customary players from Spaghetti or Paella Western , such as : William Berger , Eduardo Fajardo , Angel Álvarez , Frank Braña , Luis Barboo and Tito García . And it turns up two historical characters as Doc Holliday and Kate Elder well performed by Geraldine Chaplin . The most known Spaghetti actor was William Berger as Doc , he played numerous Pasta Western as ¨Keoma¨ , ¨Sábata¨, ¨Faccia a Faccia¨ ,¨Cisco¨, ¨Ringo big night¨ and many others . Atmospheric and evocative cinematography by Luis Cuadrado , Carlos Saura's regular . Shot on usual locations in Colmenar Viejo , Manzanares del Real , La Pedriza and Rascafría , Madrid . Anti-climatic and inappropriate musical score by Luis De Pablo . The motion picture was regularly directed by Volver Vogeler who also made other western : El Valle De Las Viudas
