Sex & Nudity

  • The movie is rated PG, although with the strong language, drug use, and minor nudity, it could qualify for an R rating. In the UK it is rated 15.
  • Robert Plant's children are shown nude while they are playing in some water in a creek.
  • Some of the songs have sexual references in the lyrics.
  • There are some scenes where the outline of Plant's penis in his tight-fitting jeans is very noticable in a few close-up shots.

Violence & Gore

  • A stylized "Mob Hit" sequence at the start has several people being shot with machine guns. Blood is represented by different colored liquids and also powder. At the end of the scene a man's head is blown off and multicolored paint spurts from the neck stump.
  • There is a scene during Dazed and Confused where a man is being treated roughly by security.

Profanity

  • One scene has the words "fuck" and "cunt" used repeatedly, mainly by the band's manager Peter Grant.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Casual smoking and drinking.
  • Plant is shown ingesting a magic mushroom in his fantasy sequence during The Rain Song.
  • As the drum solo begins, Plant comes off the stage smoking a joint (roach).

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Children might be frightened by the grotesque mask worn by John Paul Jones during his fantasy sequence.
  • Jimmy Page's fantasy sequence is also a bit dark and could be unsettling to some.
