Lena Gogan : [comes out of the closet behind him and grabs him and messes up his hair] Nowhere! Your hokey pokey dragon is out helpin' Santa Claus pull his sled! Boys!
Pete : Let me go!
[Willie and Grover lift him up by his legs and Pete pounds on them and tries to get free]
Lena Gogan : Now you're never gonna get away again! We're gonna put chains on ya when you're workin'!
Merle : And when you're not workin'.
Willie : And when you're sleepin'!

Pete : I can't sell you Elliot. I don't own him.
Hoagy : Well what did you do, rent him?
Dr. Terminus : Well who owns him?
Pete : Well, nobody, I guess. He just came to me. He only goes to those who need him.
Dr. Terminus : *I* need him!
Nora : Listen Doc, I don't know what you're up to but you better forget about this. He's not for sale.
Dr. Terminus : [passing Pete's brush over to Nora] Nora, go paint your lighthouse. Pete, my boy, you're conversant with Elliot! Now talk to him. Tell him how much I need him! Look, deliver Elliot to me the fiver is yours, plus a bottle of my medicine that's guaranteed to bring on puberty two years ahead of time. And that's better than a dragon!

Grover : Petey.
Merle : Where'd he go?
[when Elliott was flying up with Pete]
Merle : He must have went that-a-way. Oh, Petey...
[Owl Hooting]
Merle : I'll wring his neck!
Grover : Petey!
Grover : Petey.
[Hooting Continues]
Pete : [Whispering] Elliott, put me down.
Willie : Now, where is he?
Merle : Look around.
Lena Gogan : SPREAD OUT!

Pete : Goodbye, Elliott. Goodbye.
Elliott : [waves goodbye in gibberish]
Pete : [runs and waves to him, and Nora, Lampie, and Paul waves to him back]
Paul : It is a dragon!
Pete , Lampie , Nora : It's Elliott!
[then Lampie and Pete laughs]
Pete : [continues to talk to him] And remember, you're suppost to be Invisible!

Pete : Elliott, save me!
Lena Gogan : Throw him in the wagon! Get him out of here!

Pete : expect for elliot hes real lampy youve seen him havent you?

Miss Taylor : [thinks Pete is the one ringing the school bell] Hey stop ringing that bell!
Pete : I'm not ringing the bell
Miss Taylor : [not believing him] Lier, Lier, Lier! Your ringing that bell on purpose!
Pete : I'm not.
Miss Taylor : Alright that's the knuckle cracker for you! That's three for lying and three for... For when the bell told.
[grabs Pete by the arm, drags him inside and grabs a rod off the desk]
Miss Taylor : Put your hands out knuckles closed fists down.
[begins to wack Pete on his knuckles with the rod while counting to six]
