Back in 1980, the Tokyo Broadcasting System aired a cut of George Romero's zombie classic Dawn of the Dead under the funky title Zombie: Earth Sos Dead Rising. The main source they used was the well-known “European Cut” supervised by Dario Argento, which most true Dawn fans have seen in some form or another... but we're betting many of you haven't seen or heard the film quite like this. The horror site Basement of Ghoulish Decadence has compiled some fuzzy but fascinating clips of that broadcast, which includes some drastic cuts to Argento's version to remove some of the gorier scenes and fit the network's time slot... but that's only the beginning.
