On the planet of Hoth the rebels are attacked by the Empire. Luke travels to meet Yoda, the others end up in a comet storm. They then all travel to another planet where Darth Vader is waiting for them. Luke discovers a terrible secret.

Fine movie that is better than the first one. Those annoying robots aren't in the movie that much, Fisher is more appealing, the story is darker, the bounty hunters feature more prominently, there's little silly humour, Darth Vader is more menacing, and the overall story is explained more. Unlike the first movie this one holds up all the way through.

Empire Strikes Back is the best of the series, so far.
