- Danilo's marriage to Adrienne Carnahan is thwarted at the wedding reception by her father, who shoots her dead. Her father shoots Danilo, who survives unknown to him, and he commits suicide by shooting himself in the mouth. The image of his death is only heard.
- A man commits a murder-suicide at a wedding reception, shooting his daughter, his new son-in-law and himself, with only the groom surviving.
