- There's a scene where a laboratory monkey rapidly ages and is seen physically suffering, then expires. The camera is close to the animal. Then, while still fairly close up, the creature's remains rapidly decay until the skeleton is exposed. While not fully graphic, it's realistic and gruesome enough to be unsettling, especially to those upset by depictions of animal death.
- Late in the film a woman is attacked by animated corpses. There are close ups of their faces which can be quite intense.
