The further adventures of jack tripper . i agree with another comment made ,that john ritter had taken jack tripper as far as he could go . He had made jack tripper a funny character which was burned out 7 yrs later .

I liked Robert Mandan as the meddling father, besides being a charming and handsome man ,he is a very talented actor,Look for him in the comedy "SOAP" a much better and very funny series. Mary Cadorette was a poor casting choice as the live in girlfriend"Vicki",Compared to all the babes Jack dated and there were many hotties and sweeties,believing he'd just move in with her is rather far fetched and there is not a lot of chemistry between them. I liked the idea of a janet-jack romance and series .i agree that it would have worked better due to the tremendous comic timing and chemistry between john Ritter and Joyce Dewitt. The series lulled into what a lot of comedies did in the 80's ,having live audiences soon got replaced by laugh tracks due to lack of real laughs . I believe that the last 2 episodes of threes a crowd have a laugh track as it was hard to fill the audience since the show was dropping in the ratings and no longer appealing.
