Berkoff Accused Of Rape

Beverly Hills Cop star Steven Berkoff will find out today if he is to stand trial for raping a woman. The Hollywood veteran, 64, has been accused of "assault and rape, including pain and suffering and loss of income and opportunities" by an Asian actress, who claims he attacked her in September 1994. The actor, who is best known for his hard man roles in Octopussy and Rambo, denies the allegations and has never faced charges related to the incident. The female believes he had racist motives behind the attack and is asking for over $500,000 in damages. Judge Christopher Wigfield will state today at Central London County Court whether or not the case will stand.
