- Several people are shot for looting and other offenses, one in particular is executed in a small room with lots of blood splattering all over the wall.
- A dead sheep is cut open and eaten, the cutting is offscreen and there is no scene onscreen, but two people eating it are seen with blood on their hands and faces.

- A single nuclear weapon falls near the city of Sheffield (the setting of the film), and it's implied that many people would have been vaporized or terribly burnt in the blast radius which causes mass destruction to homes and neighbourhoods

- A woman gives birth in one scene, nothing is shown, but she's shown to be in great pain doing so. We briefly see the baby naked, showing that it's a girl.
- A girl is seen having intercourse with a boy and as a result becomes pregnant.

- A woman delivers a baby offscreen, we see the baby afterwards, covered in some blood and what appears be afterbirth, the woman then proceeds to cut the umbilical cord with her teeth.
