The set used for the fictional Hawaii Metro Police Department was the same one as the LCPD, just with different decorations. This was done to save money since cost was a big factor in this final season.
Hooker's foot pursuit of the pickup has two notable errors- first the truck would have accelerated far faster than shown, an overweight 54 year old would not be able to keep up. Next, once the driver bailed out, unless the truck was perfectly aligned (unlikely for an older pickup) and the road perfectly flat (roads are not flat for water drainage), the truck would not have continued driving perfectly straight as was shown.
For someone assigned to a protective detail, Stacy wears far too skimpy an outfit. While this would attract male viewers, it would prohibit her from carrying a concealed firearm.
The Senator asks Hooker if he's going to vote for him, and Hooker said he did last year. U.S. Senators serve 6 year terms, so absent some type of special election , Hooker could not have voted for an incumbent the prior year. This may have been due to Hooker like most Americans lacking knowledge as to how the U.S. political system works.
As the gun thugs arrive, Stacy runs to the car and then tries to pull the gun concealed under her skirt. She is subsequently disarmed and kidnapped. A better tactic since she was armed would have been to pull and engage the gun thugs at a distance.
