When Hunt and his girlfriend drive from the airport, they pass the same parked school bus at least twice, without ever making a turn.
While finishing the 15,000 cars, Kazihiro-San takes off his tie when he comes up the stairs. After a cut to Saito, his tie is back on.
During the softball game, Buster knocks down Saito as he runs the bases. When Saito is helped up and begins walking off the field, he puts his sunglasses on crooked, as if they are broken. In the next cut, while still walking off the field, Saito's sunglasses are gone.
At the softball game, about 18 Japanese players show up. For the rest of the movie, none of them are seen again either on the plant floor or in the office, other than Kazihiro, Saito, Ito, and the other two.
When Hunt gets back from Japan, he sees and mentions how the local pizza place closed yesterday. Later, while calling potential employers trying to relocate, he is eating some slices from what looks to be a local pizza place box.

At the end of the softball game, Buster intentionally runs into Saito, who is about to catch the pop fly that Hunt put up, and helps his team win. According to the rules, Buster should have been called for interference because Saito has the right to field the ball. The runs that Hunt brought in would not count. Assan Motors would be given the third out and the game.
In the opening at the management training center, the old worker is shown in subtitles as referring to his family (to support). But the Japanese words do not mention them at all. He only apologizes and says he will work hard.

They need to make 15,000 cars in one month. It is never stated what month that is. However, they leave after 14,000 cars. But the next scene is shown at the July 4th Celebration. Unless they made 14,000 cars in 4 days, the plant would have been shut down by the 4th.
Near the end, when Hunt and Kazuhiro argue in the office, Kazuhiro pronounces his boss as Sakimoto instead of Sakamoto.
