Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Most of the murders are mild and not likely to frighten today's audiences. Children might be frightened by the appearance of several horror characters: the Wolf Man, Rasputin, Mr. Hyde, Phantom of the Opera etc. These costumes are well done and are fairly impressive but not that scary.
  • On more than one occasion, a seance is held by the manservant to contact his dead former master. The ghost of his master appears and speaks to him. This is not especially scary but young children might be upset.
