Did Franco have a double? The story is set in the late 40's, in Spain... The humble owner of an orthopedics shop in Madrid is abducted by a misterious group... He disappears for the external world... Trivia | The name of main character of this movie, a man forced to become a double of Francisco Franco, is Paulino which was Franco's real second name. See more » |
Goofs | The night watchman addresses Franco (really Paulino in disguise) with the wrong honorific style: When addressing Franco directly, the watchman should have said "Vuestra Excelencia" (Your Excellency) instead of "Su Excelencia" (His Excellency). The watchman is likely uneducated at this, as were many people during the 1950s. See more » |
