Trivialidades:

There was a scene filmed, but cut from the movie, showing Frank Castle, when he was still a cop, busting mobster Dino Morretti (the mobster he kills at the beginning). However, there are still allusions to the bust in the film. When Sam Leary introduces herself to Berkowitz, she mentions that they had worked together on the Morretti bust ("I was the hooker."). And both the DVD and VHS copies of the movie feature a still photo on the jacket of Castle in a blue jean shirt with two guns, Berkowitz, and Leary (in her hooker disguise).

Errores:

Continuidad: After the lights go off, some goons shoot at where two characters are standing, only to find them gone when the emergency lights come on. Not a single bullet hole is visible in the Japanese paper screen they were standing before, however.

Adapted from a little known comic book of the same name,The Punisher is a ceaselessly exciting thrill-ride with action like you've never seen before.Many consider Dolph the most dramatically talented out the action hero bunch (Willis,Seagal,Van Damme,Schwarzenegger et al)and many may be put off here by what could be interpreted as a blank,stationary performance.In fact,what this is is a frank,startling portrayal of a man unable to emit mercy to his opponents simply because he is emotionally unable to.Like the best,it also has a sensible,compact running time,running in at just under an hour and a half,making it all the more irristible to the action conesseur.****
