Even though the Hulk first starred in a TV series, he’s been featured in multiple classic and MCU movies since the 80s. We’ll cover the famously jacked Lou Ferrigno in his classic Hulk films and the more recent MCU Hulk movies in order.
Hulk, with his unparalleled might, which intriguingly amplifies with his escalating anger, has become one of the most celebrated and complex characters in the Marvel realm. His resilience, boundless strength, and the intriguing dichotomy of his existence as both the genius Dr. Bruce Banner and the colossal Hulk have rendered him a character of both empathic depth and exhilarating action.

As a dedicated Hulk fan (who was once painted all green to be Hulk for Halloween), I can relate to his “always angry” persona.

The new Disney+ series from Marvel Studios, She-Hulk, is in full swing. The show is based on the character created by Stan Lee and John Buscema and made her first appearance in 1980. But this is not the first time they tried to get a live-action version off the ground. Best Movies Never Made, the official Twitter handle for the podcast of the same name, recently posted pics about an unproduced She-Hulk movie from 1991.
The movie had planned to star six-foot model-turned-actress Brigitte Nielsen. She had made her film debut as the heroine in Red Sonja, a distant cousin of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Conan the Barbarian series (he shows up – but not as Conan). The tall framed actress went on to Rocky IV and Cobra, co-starring then-husband Sylvester Stallone. Her stature seemed like a perfect fit to portray Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner.

The tragic history of The Crow helped usher in a quarter century of comic book movies.
On May 13, 1994 The Crow, based on the comic book by James O’Barr, was released. At the time, comics-based movies -- the superhero variety or otherwise -- were in a slump. After the initial excitement following the massive success of Tim Burton’s Batman in 1989, that series had taken a darker turn with 1992’s Batman Returns, and the corresponding dip in box office had Warner Bros. Pictures preparing a far more kid-friendly and garish Batman Forever for 1995.
The Superman franchise had died a more gruesome death than even Doomsday itself could bestow with 1987’s Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, and as a result Krypton's last son lay dormant in re-development hell. As for iconic publishers like Marvel…let’s just say that the bargain-basement Captain America (1990) and the TV quickie...

From Wonder Woman to Red Sonja, here are the female comic book projects that we’ve missed out on…
Although Supergirl, Catwoman and Elektra are movies that exist, there are times when we wish they didn’t. To be honest, the ‘perfect’ female-headlined superhero movie is still the stuff of our cinematic dreams. Saying that, TV’s Agent Carter provided us with a brilliant example of bringing a female comic book character to the small screen earlier this year, which hopefully Hollywood will learn a lot from going forward.
Of course, Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel will be joining their respective cinematic universes soon, with Supergirl getting a pop at small screen success too. It looks like female comic book heroes will be getting the attention they deserve in the live action realm, finally.
This isn’t the first time the powers-that-be in Hollywood have tried to launch a slate of female superheroes,...

Long-time Hulk actor/voice artist Lou Ferrigno has confirmed that he'll be back to voice the green giant again in Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Don't worry, though, Hulk won't be attempting to rival Tony Stark in the blabbermouth stakes – Ferrigno is onboard to provide Hulk's signature ground-shaking roars. Ferrigno previously played Hulk on screen in two TV shows called The Incredible Hulk (one in the '70s, the other in the '90s), plus numerous standalone movies including The Death Of The Incredible Hulk. He also voiced...

Joss Whedon's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." may be the latest live-action Marvel TV series to sweep the nation, but it is by no means the first. In the late '70's, families would gather around their televisions every Friday night at 9 P.M. to watch a show featuring everyone's favorite not-so-jolly green giant. Starring the likes of Bill Bixby (as Dr. David Banner) and Lou Ferrigno (as the Hulk), "The Incredible Hulk" has garnered a loyal following of fans throughout the years.
In fact, "The Incredible Hulk" was so successful that recently there has been talk of a re-imagined take on the series, helmed by the great Guillermo del Toro. However, with promotion for "Pacific Rim" now underway and huge films such as "Pinocchio" and "Justice League Dark" currently on his plate, it doesn't seem like del Toro will be getting to this passion project anytime soon.

Mongrels, Jason Manford, The Pandorica Opens and some corking movies star in this week's guide to the next seven days of UK TV...
Another short list week and, again, it seems only comedy is brave enough to take on the World Cup with series kickoffs.
Jason Manford: Live helps us see the funny side of life and urinals on Saturday, 19th June at 10:00pm on Channel 4 with a hometown performance in Manchester filmed in 2009.
Then on Tuesday, 22nd June, the first of an eight-part "urban multi-species adult puppet comedy" series, Mongrels, starts up at 10:00pm on BBC3. BBC2's animal-based animated series of 2004, I Am Not An Animal, had celebrity voices like Steve Coogan and Simon Pegg behind the inky animals, where Mongrels looks to focus on TV personalities playing in the mix among the puppets, voiced by Paul Kaye, Katy Brand and other comedic actors.
