Willie was only hired by Carl to steal Sam's wallet, not to kill him.
Yes. Paul Hogan turned down the role because he found the script "not funny" and had thought Ghost was a comedy. The same year, Paul Hogan starred in another supernatural flick from Paramount Pictures entitled Almost An Angel. In the film, Paul Hogan stars as Terry Dean, an Australian thief who gets hit by a car when he saves a child and God decides to give Terry a shot at redemption and sends him back as a probationary angel to do God's work and help others. Patrick Swayze had been offered the supporting role of Steve Garner but turned it down to do Ghost and Elias Koteas was cast.
No. Sam came to Molly and Oda Mae's defence and physically attacked Carl. Sam's reaction when Carl got killed indicated that Sam did not intend for him to get killed by the glass.
One could assume that if Sam had intended to take revenge on Carl by killing him, the dark shadows would have also dragged him screaming to hell, but this could also be very unlikely: Carl deserved being killed by Sam, an eye for an eye, so he can never kill again. As you see, that is subject to a whole other interpretation under one's own beliefs of good and evil, and revenge, justice and retribution. Any consequences under most belief systems are surely unlikely here.

Money laundering. Conspiracy. Indirect murder and attempted murder.
He was probably upset because he knew how horrific the shadow demons' retribution was going to be. His upset is meant to convey this understanding of his horrific and imminent punishment to the audiences.
She doesn't use an alias. When her storefront is first shown in the film, it reads "SISTER ODA MAE BROWN."
No, although Molly talks to Sam about marriage right before he is killed.
No one has answered this question yet.
About 39 minutes into the movie.
Ditto, from the Latin, means "the same as stated above or before." In this case: "I love you too." It means "me, the same" or "likewise". Sam uses it because he does not want to say the words "I love you" back---perhaps by superstition---yet he does wants to let his wife know that he loves her. So he came up with "ditto". A character quirk which will be pivotal later on in the movie, as well as at the end, showing how the character evolved.
Banker Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze) is shocked when he learns that he has just been shot and killed by mugger Willie Lopez (Rick Aviles) whom attacked him and his girlfriend Molly Jensen (Demi Moore) and stole his wallet. Refusing to go Heaven, Sam decides to stay on Earth as a ghost and watch over Molly. But, Sam soon learns the terrible truth behind his death and that Willie Lopez was hired by his friend and co-worker Carl Bruner (Tony Goldwyn) to mug him. Believing Molly is in danger, Sam communicates with psychic and con artist Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg) and pleads with Sam to help him warn Molly that she is in danger. As Oda Mae tries to convince Molly that she is communicating with Sam and tries to warn her she is in danger. Sam sets out to foil Carl's scheme to steal $4 million charity money from client Rita Miller, so he can pay off drug dealers and Sam uses Oda Mae to close Rita Miller's bank account, so Carl can't get his hands on the money. As Sam succeeds in foiling Sam's scheme, Sam learning from a subway ghost (Vincent Schiavelli) how to manipulate objects with his mind, sets out to protect Molly and Oda Mae, when Carl learns Oda Mae closed the bank account and Willie and himself go after Oda Mae and find out where the money is and can Oda Mae convince Molly that she really is communicating to Sam and that she is in danger?
