Set in '50s Spain, a young man (Sanz) leaves the army and looks for a job so he and his fiancée (Verdu) can get married. He rents a room from a widow (Abril), and shortly begins a torrid affair with her. The fiancée figures it out and decides to win him back by offering herself to him and taking him to meet her family. Madrid, 1950. Francisco, detto Paco, un giovane di origine campagnola, dopo aver terminato il servizio militare, decide di stabilirsi a Madrid. Il suo comandante gli trova un lavoro e lui vorrebbe fare soldi in fretta per sposare la sua fidanzata Trini, che lo aspetta al paese. Paco alloggia nel frattempo presso Luisa, una giovane vedova molto attraente, che lo conquista e con la quale inizia una calda ed intensa relazione sessuale.
