• Continuity: The camera angle changes in the final camcorder shot of Lelaina saying "...and you wondered why we never got involved."
  
  
• Continuity: Michael crashes into Lelaina's car on the left-hand side. After she visits him at his office, she is shown getting out of her car with Vickie at their apartment - yet the car is in perfect condition without any dents.
  
  
• Continuity: Troy's hair in different shots while talking to Michael outside of the club.
  
  

• Continuity: Troy takes his guitar off twice before going on a break at the club.
  
  
• Continuity: When the group is smoking pot with a pop can, there are two different cans used.
  
  
• Anachronisms: At one point in the movie the characters are drinking Slurpee's from 7-11. This would have been impossible in Houston during 1993/1994 (the years the movie was filmed/release) as all 7-11s had all been sold to Stop'n'Go around 1990, which did not sell the Slurpee brand. In fact, the closest store is 109 miles away in Smithville, Texas, and those Slurpee's wouldn't have lasted the trip back to Houston.
