As Bas As It Gets.....

You will have to look long and hard to find a more amateurish attempt at film making. Stilted dialog and wooden performances highlighted by Conrad's relentless mugging for the camera exemplifies an actor well past his prime. The movie shows two "Bear Valley" locations....one a high alpine setting and the other a foothills location with oak trees and lush foliage. Great editing.

Add to that a plethora of performances by actors never to be seen again....at least not in anything of merit...to camera work that barely surpasses hand held 8mm picnic footage. Just a complete mess from start to finish. This kind of self-indulgent tripe does little to add luster to a decidedly mediocre career.

This is a "movie" that Ed Wood might have been proud of....sorry Ed.

Robert in Search & Rescue and High Mt. Rangers was great!!!!!

It was great, I love anything Robert Conrad does. The best was High Mt. Rangers, I really liked that series. Anything in the mountains there in Nevada is great, I miss all those shows with Robert in them, wish they would have re-runs of them.
