Sex & Nudity

  • Mild innuendo throughout the series.
  • The character Blackarachnia has a very curvaceous robot mode; in the second half of season three her appearance changes so that her armor resembles a bikini.
  • There is romantic subplots between Silverbolt and Blackarachnia; and Tigatron and Airazor.

Violence & Gore

  • As the show's title indicates, the show focuses on a war between small faction of enemy robots, Maximals (heroes) and Predacons (villains). There is often violence and fight scenes per each episode, with the use of war tactics, physical combat and gunfire. Most of the time, the fight scenes may be used for comic effect with characters being blown apart but surviving to return the next episode.
  • All of the characters possess firearms or some kind of weaponry apart from the human children introduced in Season 3.
  • The villain Waspinator is blown apart or dismantled usually every episode or so. He survives, and is used for comic relief. Other Predacons also are treated similarily.
  • The hero Dinobot takes great pleasure in fighting, often acting violent and threatens his comrades, most commonly Rattrap.

Profanity

  • The characters use the term "Slag" (meaning melted metal) as a curse word. It may offend British viewers since it also translates as an insult to women.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There is no alcohol, drug-taking and smoking in the film.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The main characters are frequently seen in dangerous situations.
  • There are numerous scenes which may frighten or upset younger viewers, including each character death.
  • Rampage's first appearance is quite tense and disturbing.
  • Cheetor's transformation in the third season may scare viewers.
  • Suggestive MPAA: PG-13 for intense Sci-Fi action violence, some animal warfare, and some suggestive themes
