Sex & Nudity

  • This film has TWO brief moderate sex scenes. They're not graphic since this film is only rated PG-13.
  • A brief sex scene; Both are clothed. Some mild movements. It's obvious that they both climax. After that scene, we see them on bed and they kiss again.
  • A rape scene; A girl is nude in the shower (we don't see anything), a man comes and rapes her (he's clothed, and we see his movements in an aerial shot).

Violence & Gore

  • A man nearly holds other people hostage at gunpoint, before another man strikes his head with an oar, snapping his neck and killing him.
  • A man beats up another man. Some punching and kicking here and there that involves the same two men.
  • A woman slaps a man.
  • A woman is raped. The man tries to violently hold her so he can do his raping. After that scene, we see her with a bloodied nose.

Profanity

  • Mild language. Nothing much.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some characters drink brandy and champagne.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many sad, frightening scenes as boat is sinking. One brief highly noticebale one is a little boy crying all alone, with no one to help him.
  • This film mostly has intense scenes.
  • A woman has scary dreams where the ship sinks.
  • The ship sinking scene is intense. We see people jumping, struggling, etc.
  • A woman believes that her baby is somewhere on the ship (while she is sinking) but her baby is actually with someone (and that someone is on the lifeboat, safe). She goes with her daughter and husband to find the baby -- That is pretty intense, considering the baby is actually NOT on the ship and is safe. She then realises her little daughter should go on a boat, but then the Captain tells them the lifeboats are gone. Sad, intense scene.
  • Another family with children face await for their certain death when they are told that there are no boats left.
  • A man throws a woman off a lifeboat after she recognizes him.
