- Ex-Secret Service agent Harry Kowa now works as a bodyguard. Protecting his boss from an assassination attempt, he kills one of the attackers, who turns out to be a government agent. Now it's open season on Kowa.
- Harry Kowa used to be a police officer until he was involved in an extreme shoot out and was dropped. Today he works as a VIP bodyguard for his friend Dr. Sander, a politician currently investigating high-tech exports to the middle east. After Sander tells about his findings - a plant for chemical weapons, code-name 'Tor des Feuers', is being built with the support of German companies - at a conference he gets shot. Kowa reacts too late, but shoots someone aiming at Sander. Sander survives the assault but Kowa gets arrested immediately being told he'd shot an undercover police officer. He soon finds out that things are not what they seem to be. However arrested in a jail-house he can do nothing about it for now.—Oliver Heidelbach

His boss is Sander, the head of the arms control commission who's about to crack down on German companies dealing illegally abroad. When Sander is shot, Kowa kills one of the attackers, who turns out to be a government agent - Now it's open season on Kowa: he's nearly murdered in jail, his daughter is blown to bits, and the only man who can help him is an ex-colleague from former East Germany's notorious Secret Police.
