Sex & Nudity

  • Condoms are seen, discussed, and bought throughout the series
  • Characters are seen watching porn in some episodes, loud moaning is heard but nothing is ever seen
  • Some scenes with implied nudity, characters are seen skinny dipping, changing clothes, or being under some sheets. Nothing is ever seen other than extremely brief glimpses of the side of some women's breasts in certain scenes. Genitals are always obscured or offscreen.
  • Some scenes which involve strippers and strip clubs. Women are seen dancing in short skirts/shorts and crop tops.
  • Teenagers (portrayed by adult actors) having romantic/sexual relationships with adults is a reoccurring thing throughout the show. Might be uncomfortable to watch for some viewers.
  • Characters frequently have conversations regarding sex throughout the series which are at times quite lengthy. This includes virginity, masturbation, pornography, genitalia, libido, homosexuality, and methods of contraception. Some of the dialogue gets a bit graphic occasionally and there are some uses of sexual innuendos.
  • Frequent kissing/making out scenes throughout, at times laying down (occasionally in a bed) and passionately. In some of these scenes, the women are seen straddling the men or/and kissing their necks/shirtless bodies. Women are occasionally seen in their bras. Sex and oral sex are sometimes implied.

Violence & Gore

  • Some gory movie/Halloween props are used by characters to prank one another, such as fake blood and dismembered limbs.
  • Some minor fights which involve punching, kicking, tackling, slapping, and spitting throughout the series

Profanity

  • Bastard, hell, bitch, slut, whore and fag can be heard.
  • The word Fag is used at least 3 times in the series.
  • The word Shit is used but blanked out.
  • Dick is used at least 2 times.
  • Ass is used few times through out the series.
  • Slut and Whore are used throughout the series.
  • Bitch is used many times.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Characters take pills that have been prescribed to them. The effects are discussed.
  • It is mentioned that a minor reoccurring character was once a drug dealer who sold marijuana
  • In one episode, they were mentioning ecstasy many times and that they boys wanted some.
  • Frequent adult and underage teen drinking scenes throughout, sometimes to the point of inebriation and passing out/throwing up

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Divorce, family/relationship/marital issues, mental illness, death, infidelity, bullying, homophobia, breakups, and rejection are common themes throughout the show. Certain more emotional scenes might be harder to watch for some viewers.
  • Some characters are seen cheating on their significant others throughout the series. This might be uncomfortable for some viewers.

Sex & Nudity

  • In an episode, two male teenagers bring a female teenager, who's drunk, to a bedroom. They are briefly seen kissing her while her blouse is open, but they are quickly interrupted.

Violence & Gore

  • A minor reoccurring character drowns. The cadaver in an opened body bag is briefly seen.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • In season six Audrey gets addicted to alcohol, and leads to her taking pain killers, and trying various drugs and alcohol. But the other characters show worry for her and help her get better.
  • It is discovered that a character is trafficking drugs, cocaine is seen in bags, and at some point, it is seen being flushed down a toilet.
  • An ecstasy scene references to Drugs in season 4 and a few more times throughout the series.
