Helpless dancers
dbdumonteil17 July 2018
Ivan and Serge are sympathetic characters ;their own occupation is to enter dance competitions where they meet each time new female partners ;Serge claims he's got good prospects and a lot of plans outside dancing,Ivan who is already blasé, has none .They often have sandwiches for lunch and sleep in their car ;but their smart pal,Maxence has big plans for them (that's what he said) and they want to join him in his place ;on their way ,they meet a special hitch-hiker :a wounded gangster who's just burglarized a bank ,and ,at gunpoint,he forces them to drive him to a place in the forest where they hide his loot ....A loot his hostages covet too ;and so does their good friend Maxence.

Good actors, but a desultory screenplay, full of plot holes ,and an absurd editing;all that revolves around the gangster is repetitive and the lines are seldom funny .If we do not give up before the end, it's because these characters, losers down on their luck, are quite endearing.

Chiara Mastroianni appears as a guest star (a former partner and mistress) but her presence does not exceed two or three minutes.
