Banging a drum about stuff we love is more or less our remit on Den Of Geek - hence what many readers have started referring to as the ‘inexplicably regular' appearance of Statham, squirrels and Harold Bishop from Neighbours on these pages.

Please note that this list isn’t ranked in any order, nor is it exhaustive. It’s compiled from the opinions of a group of different people,...

We've got a fairly short list of DVD releases for you this week, but the good news is that some of them are pretty worthwhile! The only major mainstream release is the thriller Law Abiding Citizen starring Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx, but also hitting stores today is the long-awaited blaxploitation spoof Black Dynamite, the Coco Before Chanel biopic starring Audrey Tautou, and the enjoyable Chris Rock documentary Good Hair. On the direct to DVD front there is Ti West's Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, and on the box set front, there is the massive Clint Eastwood: 35 Years, 35 Movies collection from Warner Brothers. TORONTO -- Kids animation is making a splash on the eve of the international television market MIPTV in Cannes with a slew of deals by two major international animation houses -- Canada's Nelvana Ltd. and Germany's TV-Loonland -- unveiled Thursday. Cartoon Network Latin America has picked up a major package of cartoons from Canadian animation producer Nelvana Ltd., including Max & Ruby, The Berenstain Bears, Pecola, 6teen, Delta State, Clone High and Bob & Margaret. The agreement, unveiled by Toronto-based Nelvana on Thursday, comes on top of a deal in January 2004 that sent three other Nelvana cartoons -- My Dad the Rock Star, Jacob Two-Two and Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids -- to the Latin American channel.
