Close to the bottom of the Bud Lee barrel
This Vivid (later Wave) release has a lousy cast and dumb excuse for a story line, representing a low ebb in the otherwise estimable career of filmmaker Bud Lee. The Wave DVD edition features an hour or more of clips from other star-studded Vivid videos, but the label's touted superstar contract girls are not present in Lee's main event.
Mark Davis is introduced undressing near his office window, preparing to commit suicide by jumping out. Poor production values have Lee not staging any evidence of this attempt, just a guy removing his shirt near a window.
Vixxxen, looking like she just came from home in a nondescript outfit and sneakers, talks him out of it, mainly by giving him a blow job and subsequent sex across his desk. Thus begins an uneventful saga of little interest, even to me as I comprehensively review Lee's career.
Star of the junker is one Kelly Jae, not very attractive, with unimpressive fake boobs and zero acting ability. Her line readings are awful, and evidently Lee kept them in out of desperation to complete the show on schedule.
She's one of Vixxxen's two roommates, the other being Debi Diamond whose boundless energy and acrobatic approach to sex is the sole highlight of this exercise. Vixxxen brings Davis home with her, and has a threesome with Diamond. In a surly but studious role, Kelly, is introduced to Davis, who says "I'm Jules Coleman" to which she replies "And I'm Ivana Trump".
A couple of extraneous sex scenes are tossed into the picture haphazardly, the script by "Gordon & Conn" as flimsy as can be. Follows a scene of Kelly staring at a couple sitting on a couch: Randy West and brunette Victoria Andrews. Scene made no sense, but I tried to fill in the blanks of perhaps Kelly sketching them (as models, though not enough detail in the closeups support this theory entirely), with a dissolve indicating her fantasizing three-way sex with the duo for us slobs in Video Land to watch.
Diamond is masturbating when delivery boy Tony Tedeschi delivers flowers and a book to the home, earmarked for Kelly from Davis. She has no cash to tip Tony with so she humps him instead, Lee reverting to stag movie storytelling courtesy of lazy Gordon & Conn.
Story resolves (thanks again to G & C) ludicrously with Davis handing over his multi-million dollar company to Vixxxen for saving him, and setting up Kelly with a $5,000,000 investment for her to create a start- up firm of her own. Kelly rewards him with sex, but even though we see Mark grunting in ecstasy Lee fails to deliver the genre's requisite money shot to climax the film. I'm not a believer in the primacy in Adult Cinema of the popshot but in context its absence here is a defect. If Bud had been directing a Candida Royalle production, then cumshots would be superfluous.
