Christy Canyon with Peter North, their first coupling.

In this detective story, Peter North is a disabled former policeman, but now a divorced private eye, drowning his sorrows as the movie starts, and the plot follows Peter's adventures throughout the film, from beginning to end.

The phone rings and his ex-wife (Traci) wants him to help deal with a blackmailer. Scene with Traci and Peter follows. Then Peter drives to the Mansion to talk to Louise Harrison (Christy Canyon) about his assignment and terms of payment. When he arrives, Christy is getting it on with Ginger Lynn in the bedroom and we get to watch what Peter saw, Christy's first girl/girl with Ginger. After the girls finish, Christy hires Peter, and more adventures follow. Later, in a sunny outdoor setting, Christy joins Peter and Ginger in a great three-way scene. Although this outdoor scene lacks the tender affection of her bedroom scene with Marc (On Golden Blonde), there is an obvious affinity between Christy Canyon and Peter North, a certain magic which brought those two SuperStars together in many subsequent Features, covering several years. For Christy fans, this delightful fun-in-the-sun is the highlight of this film.

Before the film ends, Christy also has a bedroom three-way with Ginger Lynn and Jamie Gillis. These scenes for NIGHT OF LOVING DANGEROUSLY were shot concurrently and intermingled with another Paradise Visuals film, ON GOLDEN BLONDE, in September 1984, on the same Set, Christy's second and third XXX-filmings. In the course of the Plot, Christy Canyon is never involved in any Traci scene, and underage Traci is never involved in any Christy Canyon scene. This allows some of Christy's performance to be reproduced in GIRLS OF PARADISE and other Compilations where Christy Canyon fans can still enjoy them. The Gillis scene is preceded by a candid discussion between Tom Byron and Peter North about how sweet and nice Christy Canyon was, and is, and Tom remarks about her "tits that float up to the ceiling!" this film came as a nice surprise. firstly, i am a fan of Traci Lords, and out here her films are hard to find. secondly, not only did the film have a suspenseful plot, but some of the best pornstars in history. although the film suffers a bit on the technical side, especially regarding the editing, i found it reasonably good of its kind. one thing that bugged me: were the initial 2 sex scenes involving Traci edited, or were they just shot in soft-core style? i couldn't figure it out, but if someone can look into this matter, i would be grateful i rate this film 7/10

One of Traci's Earliest and Best

The story has been told about Traci Lords brief but enduring career as the unofficial Queen of porn. Between 1984 -1986 Traci was unquestionably the most requested pornstar as far as video rentals and sales were concerned. And the reputed highest paid starlet. Her movies flew off the shelves BEFORE her movies had to fly off the shelves days after the FBI raided her home in July 1986 and the entire world discovered Traci had made ALL BUT ONE movie while being under the age of 18. She actually started in porn at 15 years old. Possessed of a fully developed and shaped figure, along with a well endowed tantalizing set of breasts, Traci quickly learned about the visceral reaction both men and women had when she got naked. Combining her awesome physical assets Traci knew how to play to the camera for maximum effect. She would pout her lips, show utter enjoyment and enthusiasm when giving her male partners felatio, and her signature orgazmic noises suggested this woman/teenager thoroughly enjoyed her "work".

In this movie Traci plays the ex-wife Janice to her ex-husband played by Peter North, a retired or disabled cop. Others in the movie were a cavalcade of some of porn's best and youngest talent of that era. This was the first movie set that Traci shared with Christy Canyon. For Christy it was a four day/two film shooting. N. O. L. D. Plus On Golden Blonde. Audiences would be introduced to this young (nowhere near as young as Traci) brunette with the DD breasts, slim waist, and long sexy legs. Ginger Lynn was also featured. There were two terrific three ways in the movie. Christy with Ginger and Peter on a lounge chair outside is super hot. But it was Traci's seductive 3 way with Steve Drake and Peter North that really sends the movie into the must see category. When Traci strips off her top for Peter and Steve they reveal their true impressions of the young starlet. North comments "I told you she was the most beautiful girl in the world" while Drake hones in on Traci and her ample bosoms saying to North "Look at those tits". The sex is graphic and hot with Traci eliciting gobs of cum from both as she revels in the attention and satisfaction of nailing two of the upcoming male superstars in porn.

Christy and Ginger have a real good three way also with porn legend Jamie Gillis. Although it appears Jamie might have mailed this one in. Having those two girls in your bed should have gotten a greater zeal for having sex with them both. Don't get me wrong Gillis delivers the all essential money shot but it was Ginger and Christy's enthusiasm for each other that really sells the scene.

In the end Traci has an amazing one on one with Peter North. She simply shows off all of her talents. She teases North while he lowers her negligee to reveal her 36D breasts. While North views Traci's awesome tits, she settles into a pouty little girl type facial expression. Peter then kisses her while they do a 69 on one another. Finally Traci rises up and lifts her leg up so she can straddle Peter. Then she rides North while he watches her breasts tantalizingly bounce. He grabs them while she writhes in sexual enjoyment. When they finally mutually cum Traci leaves the bed to go into another room only to emerge and tell Peter that he's fucked her for the last time as she points a gun at him. Luckily for Peter, Drake comes into the room sporting a gun of his own and tells Traci that she's a cop's wife and she knows now what she needs to do. Won't spoil it but any vision of this incredibly sexy girl simply can never be enough.

Amateurish, almost laughable

If it weren't for the hot talents of Peter North, Christy Canyon, Traci Lords and Ginger Lynn involved, I would laugh at some of the amateurish mistakes writer-director Michael Phillips (aka Adam) made while filming this. It's a beginner's rule of thumb for any type of filmed drama, whether sci-fi, porn, horror or comedy, to never let an actor look away from the scene into the camera. It ruins the focus and mood of the scene and makes the characters flat and one dimensional. These parts should always be cut and the director should point the camera where the character's face is. Traci is seen most often looking away, Canyon is also in other films from Phillips. Her bio said she lost her script and read her lines from Peter North's forehead. Phillips was said to be living together with Christy during this time, no doubt distracting him as well as some alcohol or drugs that she dropped out of porn to rehab from. The sex repeats so often in the same dull positions that Traci and Ginger need to fake some screaming to hide their boredom, or have their sound dubbed. The silence in the hot tub scene between Traci and Peter was also an incomplete letdown. Traci spoofs Mary Astor's villain from Maltese Falcon, her wicked speech is ended with cheap special effects, too.
