profound story about true friendship, love and trust.

The film "The rule of three" provides a fascinating intense story about friendship, love and marriage. Its about a ´very talented song writer, Roger , who falls in love with a singer, Sam. Everything goes well , both fall in love and decided to get married as quickly as possible. Roger has everything, the woman of his dreams, success and a great friend, Mitch who is always there for him. However, Roger who seems to suffer of depression is unable to appreciate it. He wants to be 100 per cent sure that he can trust his wife Sam. He wants to test her love and fidelity by asking his best friend to seduce her. For Roger this is the only way to find out if she really loves him. His best friend tries to talk him out of it without success. Roger becomes more and more obsessive. This film has a dramatic ending. The film is tragic, it shows that even if you have it all you are still unable to be happy relax and enjoy your life. Your inner thoughts and paranoia stops you of being content even there is nor reason at all to be so nervous and anxious all the time.

The film shows that depression or any other form of mental disease can to a large extent control your life or in this case destroy your life and the life of others. Like in Rogers case he was unable to appreciate all the things he had because he suffered of anxiety and paranoia.
