- A baby is picked up by the legs and stabbed. This is all seen in a shadow but still violent.
- Broly smashes Goku's stomach and Goku coughs up blood.
- Some bloody moments occur during the fights, which are quite intense in nature. Broly's final transformation contains a brief scene of his body tearing apart.
- This of all the Dragon Ball Z movies is arguably the most violent. There is some blood when Broly punches Goku in a scene and there is some green blood from Piccolo as well.
- In a flashback, Broly punches Paragus in the face, blinding his left eye (blood is seen in the uncut version).

Violence & Gore
- Gohan (a child) is seen as a victim of broly's uncontrollable rage, he is seen being chased around through a ruined city before broly catches him and proceeds to smear his face against a skyscraper, he then proceeds to smash him into another building and blast energy waves at him before an unconscious Gohan falls to the ground.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- King Vegeta stabs baby Broly in an attempt to murder him. The supposed murder is presented in a shadow, but it's still disturbing.
- There's a flashback where Paragus pleads for his son Broly not to be murdered. Paragus is beaten. Then later Broly is stabbed.
- There's also a flashback where city is destroyed by an energy blast (along with thousands of implied deaths) with the one who destroyed it, Broly (as a kid), laughing in a disturbed manner. This may scare younger viewers.
- Paragus' death is rather unsettling because he is killed by Broly, his son.
