- The beginning shows the saiyans turning into great apes and concurring the planet Kanassan and killing their race.
- A great ape gets a cut on cheek by an energy blast and a line of blood comes out.
- Bardock and his crew are attacked by the remaining Kanassan who survived from the saiyans attack.
- Bardock has several visions of he's planet being destroyed and watching his son fight countless foes.
- Bardock arrives to planet meets and see's that his crew was killed and piles of blood is everywhere. As Bardock holds a handkerchief that he wiped off the blood that was on Toria's face, the blood pours all over the handkerchief.
- Bardock fights Frieza's elite men brutally in some cases.
- Bardock is attacked by Dodoria with a crushing blast.
- Bardock is badly injured and it is revealed that their is blood all over his ship's seat.
- Bardock is flying off fighting hundreds of Frieza's men to confront him.
- A planet is destroyed by a crushing energy ball with an entire race with it.
- The ending credits shows goku fighting many people in dragon ball and he's fight with vegeta and nappa in Z.

- When Bardock arrives to see that his crew was killed, Tora began to say his last words to Bardock telling him the event that is happening, this scene can be upsetting and a bit disturbing as well.
- The ending where Bardock say's goodbye to his son Goku or Kakorrot he says, might upset some viewers.
- The ending credits where it shows clips of Goku's adventures in Dragon Ball and the fight between Nappa and Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z might also upset viewers.
- This film can really be upsetting and violent. Your kids may be disturbed by the scenes with Bardock and Goku and the music playing along with it.
