- Certain mobile suits have what is called the 'ZERO System' that has of the possibility of driving the pilot into insanity, often accompanied by terrifying hallucinations. These visions include the destruction of entire colonies, imagined deaths of loved ones, and flashbacks. Affected pilots sometimes resort to massive killing sprees. These scenes can be highly disturbing.
- Several characters nearly suffocate after the air is cut off from their prison cells.
