Marina Morgan told Draculina magazine she got the lead role when she sent her photo to director Tommy Faircloth after she saw his ad in a magazine looking for actresses. He called her and sent her the script. After she read it, she said she wanted the part bad, even though it involved extensive close up nudity. Thankfully, he cast her after she auditioned.
According to star Marina Morgan during an interview, Tommy Faircloth played practical jokes on her during production. One involved Faircloth placing fake bugs in her bed and recording her startled reaction. Another time, she went for a boat ride with him on a lake and he suddenly yelled there's a huge poisonous spider in the boat. Being terrified of spiders, she jumped into the water. Morgan did get her revenge though. She wouldn't give details, but did say the incident involved tequila and the director wound up having to walk three miles because his car got towed.
