Undeniably, Kelly Clarkson was having a rough night. While she was performing on May 10, she was a bit out of sorts.
Kelly Clarkson Starts The Night Off In A Weird Mood
When she first came on stage at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on May 10 and 11, she was feeling a little off. After entering the platform, Kelly Clarkson admits she was in a weird mood. She says, “I’m in a weird mood. I don’t know why. You should’ve seen me backstage. I was dancing like Kristen Wiig in [Saturday Night Live],” referring to her creative movements. But even with the unusual intro, she said she was eager to start and be performing. Admittedly, she only gets to do short songs as part of Kellyoke on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The slick rhymes Red Hot Chili Peppers embedded into their 2002 single “Can’t Stop” made their way to the Kelly Clarkson Show stage when the host and singer selected it as her latest Kellyoke pick. Joined, as always, by her band Y’all, Clarkson also welcomed her guitarist Jaco Caraco to step up to the mic and offer some layered background vocals to the performance.

“The Grand Tour” co-host Richard Hammond is under fire for making a joke during the Amazon series’ sixth episode about not eating ice cream because he’s straight.
The conversation began when Jeremy Clarkson was talking about the interior of a Rolls Royce, stating, “The only problem is that in one of those, you couldn’t enjoy a chocolate Magnum ice cream.”
It was then that Hammond replied, “It’s all right, I don’t eat ice cream. It’s something to do with being straight.”
As the audience began to applaud, Clarkson and James May looked taken aback. “Why are you applauding him?” Clarkson asked. “What do you mean?…You’re saying all children are homosexual?”
Hammond continued by saying, “Ice cream is a bit – you know. There’s nothing wrong with it, but a grown man eating an ice cream – it’s that way, rather than that way.

Last week’s premiere of the new automotive series featuring the former hosts of “Top Gear” has become the biggest show rollout ever on Amazon Prime Video. In an age where Donald Trump can become President of the United States, it’s sadly fitting that English reality host Jeremy Clarkson had to flee to America to keep doing whatever the hell he wants. You see, the former “Top Gear” host’s contract wasn’t renewed by the BBC because of not one, but many controversial incidents involving the volatile “car journalist” (self-described), including accusations ranging from jokes about murdering prostitutes and imitating a Nazi salute to tossing around so many ethnic slurs it seems as though he’s offended every race and gender imaginable.
But what put him over the line across the pond was a March 2015 altercation with Oisin Tymon in which he allegedly punched the “Top Gear” producer for serving him soup and a meat platter instead of steak. Despite protests from fans (including a petition garnering over 1 million signatures), the BBC stood by their...

From 2002 to 2015, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May hosted and presented the popular BBC series “Top Gear,” and received much acclaim for their conversational, comedic approach to the series. But in 2015, the BBC announced it wouldn’t renew Clarkson’s contract after he verbally and physically assaulted “Top Gear” producer Oisin Tymon over a dispute at a hotel. Tymon filed a lawsuit against Clarkson and the BBC, prompting an apology from Clarkson and a £100,000 settlement. Could Jeremy Clarkson return as host of BBC’s “Top Gear” just one year after he was fired for punching a producer? What had once seemed unthinkable now looks like a possibility. Former BBC boss Mark Thompson this week told Britain’s Sunday Times Magazine said kicking Clarkson out at the curb was a mistake. And the show’s been on the downslide since Clarkson’s departure — without an emergency brake. Ratings have tanked, with the recent season’s finale pulling in a mere 1.9 million viewers in the U.K. Last season, the Clarkson-led program averaged 6.49 million viewers per episode.

The BBC made a massive mistake by firing “Top Gear” host Jeremy Clarkson last year — or so the network’s former boss thinks. While the drama surrounding Clarkson’s suspension and subsequent dismissal for assaulting a producer sparked huge headlines around the world, it’s resulted in a disaster for the network’s hit car show. “Clarkson can be a deeply objectionable individual, and I say that as a friend. I don’t think people should punch their colleagues. It’s hard to keep them if they do,” Mark Thompson, who is now CEO of the New York Times, told Britain’s Sunday Times Magazine.

The last time we saw Top Gear, it was the Season 22 finale that felt incomplete -- which it was. Jeremy Clarkson, one of the BBC show's three hosts and the creator of the "new" version (Top Gear's first incarnation was a less fun, more factual car review and news show), had been fired for punching a producer. His two longtime co-hosts, James May and Richard Hammond, presented what they could cobble together from the footage shot before Clarkson's departure. And then they, too, said good-bye. The three will reunite on Amazon for a new car show premiering sometime in the fall. BBC doesn't want to let a good thing die, so it replaced Clarkson, May, and Hammond with new hosts (five of them, in fact) and set about shooting Season 23. And now we can see what we're in for. Four of the show's hosts probably won't be familiar to Americans.

Jeremy Clarkson has settled the lawsuit brought against him by “Top Gear” producer Oisin Tymon. Clarkson issued an apology to the producer, whom he assaulted after a shoot in March of last year. “I would like to say sorry, once again, to Oisin Tymon for the incident and its regrettable aftermath,” Clarkson said, per the BBC. “I want to reiterate that none of this was in any way his fault” he continued. “I would also like to make it clear that the abuse he has suffered since the incident is unwarranted and I am sorry too that he has had to go through.

While Jeremy Clarkson and his merry team of co-presenters (Richard "Hamster" Hammond; James "Captain Slow" May) are making that Friends money over at Amazon, the BBC is revamping their iconic motoring series Top Gear with a quartet of relatively unknown people — for this side of the pond, anyway. Racing driver Sabine Schmitz and motoring journalist Chris Harris will join veteran TV-presenter Chris Evans (no, not that Chris Evans) and ex–Formula One driver David Coulthard in the new series, according to Deadline. The new Top Gear will likely go grill-to-grill against the formidable trio's Amazon show, and it'll be interesting to see which show emerges triumphant, and what the subsequent cornucopia of thinkpieces will make of all of it.The departure of Clarkson, May, and Hammond from the BBC comes after a highly-publicized "fracas" between Clarkson and a producer earlier this year, for which Clarkson was later fired. May and...

Most of us are aware of the professional sod Jeremy Clarkson, who is now working for Amazon teevee (coming soon to an AppleTV near you). I haven’t been burdened with him as long as our British friends and therefore my opinion of the guy is somewhat more favorable than that found across the Great Pond.
Clarkson was co-host of the BBC teevee show Top Gear, which is to reality shows what, well, Jackass was to reality shows, although much more funny and somewhat less inspirational. He just did a 2 1/4 minute commercial for Amazon’s threatened drone delivery service. Perhaps you’ve seen it; if not, here’s the link.
This is a highly political move. Amazon isn’t selling a service it offers presently, and they can not and will not be able to in the near-future. Right now, the service Amazon is proposing is illegal, at least here in the States.

Jeremy Clarkson, formerly of Top Gear, has a new car show in the works for Amazon Prime, but before that comes out, it seems that he's taking some time to introduce us to his (and our) new corporate overlords. After paying as much as $250 million for Clarkson and his co-host Richard Hammond in a three-year deal earlier this year, Amazon has dropped a Clarkson-narrated introduction to its proposed drone-delivery service, Amazon Prime Air. To be clear, this service does not exist yet, and Amazon does not plan to deliver Jeremy Clarkson to your house (yet).

In honor of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and any other post-Thanksgiving shopping manifestations, we bring you Amazon’s video posted today of the company’s new hire Jeremy Clarkson narrating a demonstration of how the online shopping giant’s drone delivery is supposed to work. In this case Clarkson suggests how Amazon Prime Air might save the game day for a young athlete who finds herself short of a strategic piece of equipment — a Puma soccer shoe the has been partially…...

After being ousted from his own show for repeated abhorrent behavior, Jeremy Clarkson is now at the center of a racial discrimination lawsuit. Lawyers for Clarkson and the BBC are reported to have attended a closed hearing with Tymon's legal team at a London employment tribunal earlier today (13.11.15). In addition to the physical attack Clarkson launched on Tymon, allegedly over a disagreement over catering, Tymon is alleging he was the victim of a verbal tirade that included derogatory remarks about his Irish nationality. A Top Gear script editor has said how furious he was at Jeremy Clarkson for a "fracas" with the show's producer earlier this year.
Richard Porter, who worked on all 22 series, said Clarkson's behaviour was a kick in the teeth for everyone else who worked hard on the show.
"[Jeremy] didn't sit down or even take his jacket off," he claimed in his book, And On That Bombshell: Inside The Madness And Genius Of Top Gear.
"He just told us he'd made a confession to management and that he was sorry to all of us.
"With that he left the office for what would be the very last time."
He added: "I was furious. Properly, knee-jiggingly, teeth-grindingly furious.
"His apology seemed half-hearted and feeble, like a child saying sorry because they know it's what the adults want to hear, rather than a sincere reflection of remorse."

You may remember that Jimmy Carr was once crowned champion in Top Gear's 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car' despite being described as "the worst driver we've ever had" and "the luckiest man alive" by The Stig.
Ok, he may have later spun off and recorded one of the slowest times upon his return, but he's still a Top Gear favourite and he's told Digital Spy that he would love the chance to host the new BBC version fronted by Chris Evans.
"If it comes up, yeah, call me!" he told us. "Call me straight away. I would do that in a heartbeat. I think it's maybe the best job in television."
Speaking about Jeremy Clarkson's controversial exit and his new lucrative deal with Amazon alongside James May and Richard Hammond, Jimmy said: "Jeremy's a good friend of mine. Obviously they've had a difficult year, but it couldn't have turned out any better!

Jeremy Clarkson has killed two birds with one stone by plugging his new Amazon show while also having a dig at the BBC in a new TV advert.
The former Top Gear host will help launch Amazon's Fire TV Stick in a funny new promo, in which he glosses over the ability to watch BBC iPlayer on his TV.
Jeremy also shows off his skills on what can only be described as a monster Segway and also looks excited for his "perfect" upcoming series in 2016.
The ad will debut on ITV during the Rugby World Cup Final on Saturday (October 31).
Clarkson left the BBC earlier this year following a highly-publicised bust-up with a Top Gear producer, but has since signed a lucrative deal with Amazon to host a new motoring series with James May and Richard Hammond.
