Historical and important movie for Brazil cinema
GustavoBroda20 January 2020
I watched the reconstruction of the 20-minute film, made by professors from UFF - (Universidade Federal Fluminense) Rafael de Luna and Reinaldo Cardenuto, along with student Juliana Charleaux, who mount and edited the images. As it is the first Brazilian spoken film, it has a unique importance in the history of Brazilian cinema. This rescue and registration for posterity is very interesting and important. The story itself is fun, and with a lot of music scenes, it is really a pity that only small fragments have survived over time, this demonstrates how important audiovisual preservation is of paramount importance to preserve the film works that are produced in the countries.
