Kids do the darndest things on TV. British woman Lucy Wronka appeared on ITV News in England Wednesday to talk about kids' milk allergies and how to stop doctors from missing their symptoms, following the announcement of new guidelines from experts at Evelina London Children's Hospital. But it was her daughter Iris who stole the show during the broadcast. As host Alastair Stewart conducted his interview with Lucy and her older son George, who suffers from a milk allergy, Iris climbed on his desk, sat on it and playfully got in his face. Still sitting on the desk, she later high-fived Alastair, as her mother, who tried to continue the...

So how exactly did William pop the question? During the pair's vacation in Kenya in October 2010, the prince asked Kate to marry him in their secluded log cabin, where he presented her with a 12-carat oval blue Ceylon sapphire ring, the same one worn by his late mother, Princess Diana. The beautiful location was also extra special, as it holds a dear place in William's heart. He opened up about why he chose to...

During an interview with ITV News on Tuesday, William admitted that he would like to see Prince George and Princess Charlotte travel to Africa when they get older to work toward wildlife conservation. William has visited the continent on numerous occasions with his younger brother, Prince Harry, to stop the illegal wildlife trade. Adam Deacon has been given a restraining order after posting a series of "abusive" messages to fellow actor Noel Clarke.
The 32-year-old actor, who sent hundreds of messages to Clarke via social media, was convicted of harassment without violence last month.
The pair had previously been friends and Deacon even described Clarke as his "mentor" after he cast him in films Kidulthood and Adulthood.
But they fell out in 2011 over Deacon's spoof movie Anuvahood, with Clarke saying Deacon cut him out of it and went back on a deal not to give the movie that name.
During the sentencing hearing, Deacon's lawyer said his client had a "history of mental health difficulties".
He added (via ITV News): "There was plainly a long-running feud between Mr Deacon and Mr Clarke dating back to 2010 at the very least. Perhaps Mr Deacon had justifiable reasons for feeling aggrieved towards Mr Clarke, perhaps he did not.

From a BBC political editor soldiering on in spite of illness to a political stalwart whose hat became the butt of many a joke, it was quite a surreal evening on all accounts. As always, we at Digital Spy are here to curate everything through the weirdness that was Election Night.

From a BBC political editor soldiering on in spite of illness to a political stalwart whose hat became the butt of many a joke, it was quite a surreal evening on all accounts. As always, we at Digital Spy are here to curate everything through the weirdness that was Election Night.
1. Liberal Democrat stalwart Paddy Ashdown and his hat
Forget about Nick Clegg, clearly the Liberal Democrats' loser of the night was party chair Paddy Ashdown. Paddy offered the following gem when presented with disappointing exit poll figures: "If that exit poll is right, I'll eat my hat." Oh Paddy, don't tempt Twitter....

Ukip has asked the police to investigate the BBC over remarks about Nigel Farage on last week's Have I Got News for You.
Officials are concerned that comments from journalist Camilla Long may hurt the leader's chances in the General Election, according to ITV News.
Last Friday (April 24), Long defended an article she wrote in which she criticised Farage's Kent constituency of South Thanet.
"I went there more than Nigel Farage," she joked. "By the time I arrived there he'd only been a few times."
Her comments upset Ukip advisors, who claimed that they were inaccurate and that the BBC had breached the Representation of the People Act.
However, Kent Police have said that they will not open an investigation.
"The matter has been reviewed by officers but there's no evidence of any offences and there will be no further action," a spokesperson said.

BBC Director-General Tony Hall has confirmed that he is involved in the corporation's Jeremy Clarkson investigation, despite admitting to being a fan of the presenter.
It was announced yesterday (March 10) that the Top Gear host had been suspended "following a fracas with a BBC producer".

As reported by ITV News, Hall spoke after addressing MPs on Parliament's European Scrutiny Committee, saying: "We have got an investigation going on.
"The most important thing in anything like this is to gather the facts. We do not have the facts at the moment.

"I can show you the world. Shining, shimmering, splendid. Tell me, weasel, now when did you last let your heart decide?" That's the music I hear in my head as this odd couple soars through the Hornchurch Country Park sky in London. According to ITV News, the story behind this extraordinary photo is a little different and a tad darker than it appears. Amateur photographer Martin Le-May was walking through the park with his wife when he heard the distressed calls of a woodpecker. Moments later, he spotted the perturbed bird giving an involuntary piggyback ride to a weasel...

The BBC's coverage of the raid on Sir Cliff Richard's house has been nominated for Scoop of the Year at the Royal Television Society Television Journalism Awards 2013/14.
The singer's home was searched by South Yorkshire Police in August following allegations of historical sex abuse - claims that have been described as as "completely false" by Richard.
Both the BBC and South Yorkshire Police were criticised over the coverage, prompting a Home Affairs Select Committee inquiry. The report stated that police should not have cooperated with the BBC after a journalist discovered information about the search.
The coverage is up against Panorama's Fake Sheikh Exposed documentary, along with BBC Northern Ireland's A Woman Alone With The Ira.
The Panorama special centred around Mazher Mahmood, who had exposed various individuals in the tabloids while posing as a fake sheikh. The documentary arrived after he was accused of "serious misconduct...

Yesterday (January 21) was apparently Squirrel Appreciation Day. You may choose to mark the occasion by feeding some in the park or reading some Squirrel Nutkin books.
Instead, one bloke was spotted brandishing a sadly deceased grey squirrel, live on ITV News.
Reporter Romilly Weeks was presenting outside Parliament to discuss the Chilcot inquiry, but the nation was no doubt distracted by a rather bizarre sight behind her.
It is not currently known who the man was, where he found the squirrel and where he was taking it, but we're hoping it was all above board.
Weeks later tweeted about the incident, saying: "Oh dear upstaged on the lunchtime news by a dead squirrel."
Rip our little squirrelly friend. Here's a happier picture with Norman Reedus to make you feel better:
