Billy Gilbert, who I will always love in The Music Box, gives a great performance as a somewhat nervous friend whose deal with buddy Vernon Dent to make wife Christine McIntyre a bit jealous backfires. McIntyre is very strong on one of her early shorts, taking on a main comic role. We also get to hear her sing. Dent is strong, as always, and Harry Edward's direction is above average. I love these old Columbia comedy shorts. I've seen so many that I've become familiar with that ubiquitous hallway-with-two-bedroom-doors Columbia shorts set that's also in this film.
