Remi and Vitali have to spend the night outdoors in search of shelter. They embark on the road outside of Paris but there is nowhere to take shelter from the snowstorm that has begun. The tragedy arrives.
Remi and Mattia arrive at their mother's house and she tells them that Mrs. Milligan is no longer there but in Switzerland to try to cure Arthur and Lissette's speechlessness.
The night falls with a heavy snowfall and taking refuge in a cabin they believe they are safe from the dangers of the night and the wolves that lurk. They do not know that the tragedy is coming.

Remi: The boy from Chavanon's village is the presentation of the series and shows us the early days of Remi living with his mother in a modest village in Central France.
After a happy "Thanksgiving Day" Remi finds out that the "father" he loved and was eager to meet, does not love him back and seems to be a cruel, rude and insensitive man.
The adversity that has come to the family means that the economic problems have no solution other than the embargo and the jail. The children are sadly separated.
