Todd Sheets

Kudos for Todd Sheets! He directed like 20 or more low budget (or no budget) movies with gore, zombies, nonsense and horrible acting. He is the king of trash SOV. We love him. Dominion is a vampire movie, featuring a soundtrack that is a complete rip off to the main tune from The Exorcist and a 8 year old king that is the master of the vampires. The movie is good in a so bad its good way, it suffers from bad editing (back in this days the non-linear digital edition was not that common, today anyone can edit better a movie with crap like the windows movie maker but this one is from 1992) Anyway, Todd (who makes a cameo here playing the guitar-he is like a Dave Mustaine clone) deserves all our respect and love, he is a real horror fan and the King of SOV. 6/10

The other commenter is obviously Todd Sheets himself. I'm very very familiar w/ the genre, what it is, and what it was, as well as movies in general. And no one would say what you just said after seeing one of this guys flicks. I've seen his entire catalog too so don't think I don't know. Thats right, Prehistoric Bimbos (both of them). Madhouse, Goblin, and there's more, I just can't remember the titles right now. I got nothing against this stuff. It's just that your comment is very misleading if people want to see an actual movie. It's good if you watch terrible movies for the enjoyment of how bad they are, don't get me wrong thats not necessarily a bad thing. Anyway, Hi Todd.

Rock N Roll Vampires!

I accidentally learned about Todd Sheets while surfing the 'net one night, I happened to stumble upon his site by accident, and after reading about his views of today's horror movies, he instantly intrigued me, he felt the same way I did about the crap they're churning out that's so called 'horror'. I finally had a few extra dollars so I ordered one of his movies, and being a rock and roll fan, I chose "Dominion". The main plot concerns a child vampire and his minions who want to resurrect their leader during a heavy metal concert. Sounds cool, huh? Since I know his work is low budget, I didn't expect too much out of it other than a good story. True, the acting isn't very good at all, the plot jumps around a lot, the filming itself is pretty bad, and the beginning is a direct rip off from 'Salems Lot, but I actually enjoyed it. Watching the movie you can tell that this was pretty much "Hey, I'm going to get all my friends together and we're going to make a horror movie!", but if I had the money, I'd do it, too! I would recommend "Dominion" to any true fan of horror who's thirsty for the good old days before all the "Scream because I know what you're push-up bra did to the urban legend last summer" flix of recent years. I'm looking forward to getting more of Todd's movies very soon.
