The BBC's long running current affairs show
chris_gaskin12311 April 2006
I didn't realise Panorama had been running for over 50 years until I looked it up on IMDb, it started in 1953. I thought it started in around the 1960's.

It is the BBC's programme that looks into current news items in detail. We have had programmes about the Royal Family, politics, wars, the NHS, the state of Britain's railways etc. There have been special investigations into current stories as well.

Plenty of different presenters over the years include Richard Dimbleby, Sara Barclay, Martin Bashir, David Dimbleby, Jane Corbin and Jeremy Paxman.

Panorama is now usually screened on BBC1 on Sunday night at 10.15, just after the News. It use to be on Mondays at 9.30. Each show lasts about 40 minutes although sometimes it's on for an hour.

Long may Panoarma continue.

Complete and utter lies!

Everything that maybe once was good about panorama has been wiped out by the recent Panodrama documentary. To see what goes on & the lengths they will go to bring us fake news & take someone down because it suits them, outrageous!

The pinnacle of fake news and manufactured expose!

One look at the the recent Panodrama expose brings a shutter down on all the previous years of supposed investigative journalism. John Sweeney and co should be ashamed of themselves... albeit of course only as they have been caught out so easily and shown up to the world!

3rd World Propaganda in a 1st World Country!

Programmes like this should not be supported or endorsed in any way. Go watch #Panodrama which exposes this and see it all for yourself. I'm getting sick and tired of these ridiculous narratives conveyed in Panorama.

Ok, but can be very dry and biased
timurtaimur20 January 2021
The show has a good reputation simply because it is led by the BBC, but in its quest to provide so-called good journalism, in matters of foreign policy it can be extremely biased.

When exploring non-domestic affairs, the show will often cherry pick who it interviews and go in search of what will define controversy. In its domestic affairs, it can often become undecided though often leans towards a right-wing bias lacking authenticity and any form of impartial stance.
