The situations do not stand too much analysis
This three-reel photoplay, written by Capt. Leslie T. Peacock, is unique in plot and well presented. Florence Lawrence plays a dual role, by means of double exposure photography which in this instance is very successfully employed. She impersonates a young bride and a woman of the underworld, the latter being ingeniously substituted for the former. The fast woman was a little too eccentric to make her later performances possible and the situations do not stand too much analysis. At the same time it is all done delicately and in an absorbing manner. A good release. - The Moving Picture World, January 31, 1914
