Gwen Stefani is officially the new queen of Christmas!
The 48-year-old singer wowed fans with her NBC special, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, on Tuesday night, but it wasn't just her festive tunes and cute interstitials that made the show worth tuning in to (not that we were upset about Blake Shelton holding up mistletoe or an appearance by "Young Gwen"). She absolutely slay-belled the fashion game with ten amazing performance outfits.
The No Doubt frontwoman kicked off the show as our perfect present, shimmying to the classic "Jingle Bells" in a candy cane-inspired silver-and-red sequined leotard topped with a red bow.

Not only did "When I Was a Little Girl" make us weep, Stefani's mom also cried when her daughter performed it at the taping of the Christmas special. For the nostalgia-ridden ditty, the mom of three opted for a silver short-sleeved high-low dress with a full tulle skirt.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2017 brought the '90s nostalgia! Famed boy band 98 Degrees recently reunited for a new holiday album, Let It Snow, some 20 years after they first formed, and gave fans a teaser from it at the event. Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons performed a new song, "Season of Love," on top of Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas advent calendar float. "You were a boy band. When you think of 90s boybands, you think of soulful harmonies accompanied by choreographed moves.
But 98 Degrees member Jeff Timmons tells People that the band didn’t do as much as you think. “We didn’t even do choreography with 98 Degrees,” he laughs. “Well, I mean, we called it ‘strategic staging.’ Basically pointing and swaying. The feet are not that involved in what we do. There was no dancing. We scoff at dancing!”
But their “strategic staging” hasn’t prevented two of the four band members from competing on Dancing with the Stars. Nick Lachey is a frontrunner on this season.

Foreplays is a column that explores under-known short films by renowned directors. Lynn Ramsay's Gasman (1998) is free to watch below.Lynne Ramsay’s Gasman is a film about family, and a film made with family—the director’s own brother and niece play, respectively, the central father and daughter in the story. Two siblings, Lynne (Lynne Ramsay Jr.) and Steve (Martin Anderson), go to a Christmas party with their father (James Ramsay), while the mother (Denise Flannagan) remains at home. They briefly meet with a woman (Jackie Quinn) and her two kids (Lisa Taylor, Robert McEwan). The woman leaves, but her children join the party. Gasman is the story both of a perfectly banal evening, and of an exceptional event that serves to fracture the family unit, messing up all its usual roles, and dissolving the very idea of what is familiar. Ramsay achieves this by never losing sight either of the everyday,...

Taped before a live audience on election night at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, the show features a strong array of country artists who deftly expand beyond their genre, as well as other special guests who otherwise circulate outside country’s porous borders.

For some people, the sounds of "Let it Snow" and "Santa Baby" trigger holly jolly thoughts, but for many horror fans, hearing Jerry Goldsmith's Gremlins score instantly gets them in the holiday spirit. If you count yourself among those seasonal listeners, then you'll want to mark your calendar for Mondo's upcoming release of the Gremlins vinyl soundtrack with artwork by Phantom City Creative.
Press Release: Just in time for the holiday season, Mondo's stellar new release of the Gremlins original soundtrack will make you want to break all of the rules (or at least 2 of the 3) that everyone knows by heart:
1. No bright light
2. Don't get them wet
3. Never feed them after midnight
The artwork by Phantom City Creative features a Uv sensitive gatefold jacket that, when exposed to Daylight, reveals hidden messages. In addition, the disc sleeves are water sensitive, so additional images appear when they are exposed to a damp cloth.

The group will join Amanda Seyfried, Diane Keaton, Alan Arkin, Jake Lacy, Alex Borstein, and Jon Tenney in a project that is increasingly becoming a clown car of notable actors. There are only 331 more filming days until Christmas and festive caper Let It Snow – once known as The Most Wonderful Time – is gathering cast members like Santa gathering elves. The latest to join the jamboree are Olivia Wilde, Anthony Mackie, John Goodman, Ed Helms, June Squibb and Marisa Tomei. That handful (if you’re The Princess Bride’s six-fingered man) will be heading to snowy Pittsburgh to join the previously cast Diane Keaton, Amanda Seyfried and Alan Arkin in a storyline that sounds a little like the final third of Planes, Trains & Automobiles, only without all the travel and not set at Thanksgiving. As an extended family get together for the holidays, everything that can go wrong does go wrong in (hopefully) hilarious ways until, according to the synopsis, “moments of life transition [unfold] for each of them as they realise that a house filled with love and laughter always makes the season bright”. Hmm.

You know what the best Die Hard is. You know what the worst is. But where do the others sit in the Die Hard league table?
A quick preamble. Over the course of the coming weeks and months, we're going to be exploring many of our favourite movie franchises, and ranking the films in order. Mainly because it gives us a further chance to talk about many of our favourite films.
Inevitably, the ordering in these cases isn't always going to come as a surprise - we go into this with the first and last place in most of these lists immediately obvious - but it's interesting to see how the movies stand in the context of each other. Police Academy week in particular should be a hoot.
When it comes to ranking the Die Hard films then, the battle is really between Die Hards 2 and 3 for second place. But...

'Tis the season to be a Marvel fan! The Avengers assemble to wish you a merry Christmas in this music video edit created by James Covenant. The creator basically edited together words spoken by the superheroes in the Marvel films and cut them all together to give us this Christmas carol video montage. I also included a video of Captain Picard and his crew from Star Trek: The Next Generation singing "Let it Snow."...

They’ve only just finished working together on boxing drama Southpaw, but Jake Gyllenhaal and Antoine Fuqua are ready to get back in the ring. Well, they’re ready to make another film as actor and director, respectively. The pair is now attached to The Man Who Made It Snow. No, you should not expect a charming family film about a stranger who comes to town and helps children enjoy Christmas by spreading the white stuff around. It’s actually the real life story of Max Mermelstein, a Jewish hotel engineer who helped Pablo Escobar turn his small-scale drug running operation into a billion-dollar business. So, er, hooray? It’s a complex tale that Fuqua has developed from an earlier draft called Let It Snow, written by Brett Tabor and Michael Kingston. The whole thing is based on the Mermelstein’s best-selling autobiography. Fuqua is set to produce alongside Gyllenhaal...
