Sex & Nudity

  • Mild Flirting
  • A teenage boy draws graffiti on a desk of two dinosaurs having sex, it is barly visible and one of the main characters yells at him for damaging public property.

Violence & Gore

  • 2 boys and their father are involved in a plane crash; it is presumed that the father drowns.
  • A t-rex attack several people, but no one is killed
  • We here that several people have gone missing and are presumed dead
  • Two brothers get into a physical altercation, they break several things and attack each other. It eventually leads to them falling off a Balcony and into a river (they both survive)
  • A dinosaur gets its tail bitten
  • A man beats a dinosaur with a stick, and puts it in a bag (we later find out that dinosaur is okay)
  • Towards the end of the film, one of the main characters gets shot (he survives).
  • A character is in a submarine and him and the submarine are completely devoured by a giant fish which results in his death.
  • At the end of the film, several thousand flying dinosaurs attack a major city, several people (including some children), are carried off and presumably killed.
  • This film has some violence but most of the fatalities in the film are implied and not shown. This comes no where near the level of violence in other dinosaur movies (like Jurassic park)

  • People drink alcohol in several scenes

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • 2 boys and their father are involved in a plane crash; it is presumed that the father drowns. This scene can be intense for younger viewers.
  • A t-rex attacks several people and completely surprises them, this can be scary because it comes out of no where and is unexpected.
  • A teenage boy trains to fly on a flying dinosaur, scenes from this part of the film can be intense for people who are afraid of heights.
  • Two brothers fall of a balcony, this can be a little intense but its kind of obvious that they will survive.
  • The temple scene with the giant crocodiles can be intense
  • The end of the movie, where the flying dinosaurs attack a city numbering in the tens of thousands can be intense for younger viewers.
  • It has some violence but nothing compared to Jurassic park.
