This is an actual film made by filmmakers. Very rarely are wild animals shown in this. Mountain lions raised in captivity are used as "ambassadors" to their species. The encounters they make with wild lions are portrayed as though it was taking place in the wild. It was well filmed, and believable. The shots shown are beautiful, capturing mountain lions in all their elegance. Shown is an encounter with a grizzly bear, two males confronting each other for dominance, and also two lions mating. Also there is shown the killing of a mountain lion by two hunters with their guns and four hunting dogs (ooh, what a challenge it must've been... I despise hunters like that).
This is a very informative movie about the lives of mountain lions. I have searched for them in the wild many times on my backpacking trips, and yet have failed to ever see one (but I'm sure they see me). If you like large cats, then I recommend seeing this. However, if you are more interested in seeing real wild mountain lions in their natural habitat, then I recommend the documentary called Puma, Lion of the Andes.
