Sex & Nudity

  • It is briefly discussed and shown that a man in his twenties is secretly screwing a woman in her forties.
  • Many sexual dialogues spoken by kids. And a man tells a boy that men use medicine when they reach 60 and they can't get erection easily.
  • A young man is briefly shown thrusting into a woman in her mid years. Some heavy breathing is heard and we see the man's lower side. This moment is later talked about.
  • Some kissing.
  • A young boy shows off his hand drawn idea of a nude woman (a stick figure with breasts and a horizontal vagina).

Violence & Gore

  • There are several violent scenes throughout the film, but there is very little gore.
  • A man gets a bloody wound sewn (brief closeup)
  • Man cuts a boy with a knife (hardly seen)
  • Shotgun blast hits a man in the arm. Little blood is shown.
  • A man is hit in the face with a cane (we see blood)

Profanity

  • A handful of curses are used throughout the film: S*** B**** and the word F*** , including the use of Faggot and Queer. Cock is used once in a sexual context.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several characters, including children, smoke cigarettes
  • Alcohol is sold.
  • A man drinks a shot of rum from a jar containing a preserved mutated baby fetus.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The main antagonist is a violent and terrible person.
  • One or two jump scares.
  • The ghost in the movie could be frightening.
  • A dead child is seen in the water.
  • The threat of an explosion is very intense.
  • A boy is pursued by the ghost of a dead child, this can be quite intense.
  • A bomb is dropped from a plane on to a playground.

Violence & Gore

  • A child attempts to climb out of a window and ends up twisting and breaking his ankle.
  • A boy's head hits a rock wall (we see the impact and a wound on the head with a small puddle of blood around his head). No graphic, but intense.
  • An explosion leaves many dead and many others wounded (there is blood and some images of blood seeping, but nothing graphic)
  • Some children remove pieces of glass from the back of a child (blood is shown)
  • A woman is stabbed. Offscreen and bloodless.
  • A man is stabbed with pikes several times (we see blood and the actual stabs, nothing too extreme but it's the goriest scene of the film)

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A woman tries to put out a fire only to be consumed by the flames.
