From PBS KIDS - Butterfly Surprise: Caillou is disappointed to learn his class trip to the fire station is cancelled...and they're going to a butterfly conservatory instead. Caillou thinks butterflies are boring...until he sees them for himself, and learns about butterfly metamorphosis. Soccer Trouble: Grandma plans to coach Caillou's soccer team while Grandpa recovers from an injury. Caillou is excited about this - until Grandma proves to have some unusual training methods. She insists her strange drills will make the kids better players. But it isn't until the kids' first game that they realize Grandma's strange and different methods are working - they are turning into better players! You're Not Miss Martin!: Caillou isn't too happy when Miss Martin is away and his preschool class has a substitute teacher - Mrs. Shelley. She does everything differently and isn't familiar with the usual routines. When Caillou tries to see things from Mrs. Shelley's perspective, he decides to give her another chance...only to realize how wonderful Mrs. Shelley really is...even if she isn't Miss Martin.

From PBS KIDS - Caillou Makes a Meal: Caillou makes pizza for dinner with his family, and learns that home-made pizza can be just as good as the fast-food pizza they have delivered to their door...and it's fun to make! Caillou's New Groove: Mommy and Daddy are gone overnight and Grandpa and Grandma are babysitting. Caillou and Rosie are excited, until they realize Grandma and Grandpa do things a little differently than their parents. When Grandpa reads a bedtime story with different (and funnier) voices, Caillou realizes different can be good. Caillou Goes Bowling: Caillou is hesitant to try bowling, until he gets to the bowling alley and sees how much fun his friend, Sarah, is having while bowling. Caillou gives it a try...and he likes it!

This episode, Caillou spends being creative. With grandpa's help he makes a paper hat for his daddy. Later with grandma, he and Rosie make their own instruments so that they can play with grandma in her band. Real kids get get creative and draw, paint and make things out of clay. Caillou, Leo and Clementine put on a show at school. Caillou plays the very important part of the sun. Even Theodore Bear gets into the act, making a collage with things from the garden.

Things that go bump in the night, and others that light up the sky, are on everyone's mind today. A family corn roast dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's under the star-studded sky prompts Grandpa to bring out his telescope and introduce Caillou to the constellations, planets, and moon. Grandpa discovers a new planetarium is opening and there's a prize for the best space costume. Caillou is thrilled when the winner turns out to be...a surprise! But fun turns to fear at bedtime when Caillou decides that a monster is lurking in his room. All's well when Mom and Dad unmask Caillou's monster as a tree branch on the window! Then, during a winter storm, the lights go out and Caillou is very afraid. Dad builds a fire in the fireplace and the family pretends they're camping. They even toast marshmallows!

From PBS KIDS - Kitty Conundrum: Caillou finds a tiny kitten while desperately searching for his beloved Rexy. He wants to keep the kitten, even though Mommy and Daddy say 'no' - they have Gilbert! When Samantha comes to the door to claim her lost kitten, "Whiskers", Caillou fetches the kitty...and finds Rexy! He remembers it isn't fun losing something you care about, and happily returns the kitty to its rightful owner. Caillou's Favourite Sweater: Grandma has knit Caillou a wonderful sweater. He loves it and wears it every day - even after it gets dirty! Finally, on a hot day, Caillou decides to take it off. When he accidentally leaves the sweater in the playground and goes home for the day, he worries something terrible has happened to it. Grandma will be so upset with him! When Mommy and Caillou return the next day to find the sweater is fine, Caillou vows to never wear it again. He decides to keep it in his drawer, nice and safe - until Grandma explains it's okay to wear the sweater - it's meant to be worn - just not everyday. Caillou's Big Dig: Caillou is feeling frustrated while trying to build a model truck. He decides he wants to quit! Daddy suggests Caillou take a break and join him on an errand. Together, they stop by Eric's dig site, where Caillou learns a little bit about archaeology - and he learns that some things take time and effort, but the effort is worth it in the end. Caillou returns home to finish his model, and is proud that he did.

Caillou has left his toys all over the place: on the stairs, in the driveway and even in the bathroom. He has to tidy them all before he can have his chocolate pudding. Part of the problem is that he has so many toys. Mom suggests that he should give some of his old ones to Rosie and Dad suggests making a big toy box, which Caillou helps him make.
